Happy weekend, everyone. For a little weekend reading, we're sharing a few links that will get you inspired to get your home, kitchen, and hostess planning duties in line for fall. 

- Wondering what to bring as a hostess gift for those last soirees of the summer? Rue has the best list ever here. 
- Revamp your home interiors, or at the very least learn a little history, with a detailed legacy of Jackie O's decorating style. Get the goods over at Apartment Therapy. 
- We try to be healthy; we really do. However, there is nothing better than chocolate, and we can't wait to try all the treats on Southern Livings Best Chocolate Recipes list. Man, don't say we didn't warn you. 
- Is there anything Gwyneth and her GOOP team can't do? Nope. See their tips for flower arranging by vase and have the most beautiful florals for your next festive fete.  
 

Agenda: August

August in Texas means triple-digit temperatures and heat stroke, which means we're hitting the road y'all for end of summer getaways - some for fun, some for business. After Jami caught a week-long National Premier Baseball Championship with her oldest son (did you see the adorable - sorry, Joseph, I mean, handsome - picture of him pitching in Lubbock?), she headed to D.C., NYC, and New Jersey to visit family. (Jami, we hope all those Cake Boss pictures in Hoboken means you're bringing us back some serious goodies!) If we were with her, we would make sure to hit all of the Mr.'s restaurants in D.C.: Founding Farmers and Farmers Fishers Bakers, the award-winning and crazy delicious restaurants on every top brunch and lunch lists you can find in the area. Now, if we can only talk Joe into bringing the chicken and waffles or grilled cheeseburger to us!

Laurel is striking out too. She's been pounding the pavement to source a uniquely curated selection of vintage tabletop for our new P.O.S.H. Vintage Collection, with goods ranging from Pink Depression ribbed footed sherbet compotes to amber chalices and an eclectic assortment of fine china to make every meal memorable. We can hardly wait to share more with you. Stay tuned!

Those of us sticking around for staycations are catching up on our favorite blogs and planning our own alfresco dinners and backyard (or maybe indoor/air-conditioned) happy hours. To get inspired and brush up on etiquette, we've been reading the Bergdorf Goodman blog 5th/58th posts on e-etiquette, David Stark's entertaining tips, and the art of handwritten letters. With Fall just around the corner, it's time to plan before the hectic social season is in full swing. Link Love: Memorial Weekend

Who isn't already falling for summer? Memorial Weekend always feels like the intro into warm weather, and we couldn't be more ready. Whether you're heading out of town or enjoying a nice staycation, here are a few links to get you inspired this three-day weekend.

Martha Stewart shares easy breezy grilling recipes. Perfect for impromptu gatherings of friends and family around the patio.  

Before you can throw together an impromptu party, you might want to get your hands on a few pantry essentials. Julip Made has just the right list to get you started.  

Just in case summer is sneaking up on you (like it is us!), get your slim on with these Vim + Vigor juices at Number One in HP Village. Yum! 

With all the devastation in Oklahoma, our thoughts and prayers are still with those rebuilding their lives and digging through rubble in Moore and Shawnee. It's nice to see humanity shine through the storm in videos like this. Don't forget, you can still donate much needed funds to the survivors through the Red Cross.
