Spotted: POSH Around Town
Wednesday, August 21, 2013
Our clients come up with the most creative concepts, fun parties, and beautiful tablescapes. Here's a glimpse at what our P.O.S.H. pals around town have been playing with this summer.
Floral design Bryan Long obviously has more up his sleeve than transforming floral arrangements. We fell in love with his hydrangea green chiavari chair treatment (above) and can't wait to share more from him. Check back next week for a Q&A, and be sure to check out his website here. |
Elizabeth Bynum worked with Rebekah and Josh on their beautiful wedding ceremony at the historical YWCA in downtown Fort Worth. They loved our Jute and Wheat linens, which added a luxurious element to their burlap and lace rustic vibe. Gorgeous! Image courtesy of Hannah Vickers Photography. |
Our friends at NexGen Gateway Church hosted a tea with their wonderful women's groups. Our Sevres and Tea Service were the perfect addition to their afternoon. |
Tabletop Tuesday: Dr. Delphinium
Tuesday, August 20, 2013
Dr. Delphinium's Lovers Lane studio is always awe-inspiring with it's towering floral arrangements and intricate display of stems and exotic flowers. To show off the grandeur of the beautiful arrangements, their team has created a Wedding Niche corner with complete tabletop from La Tavola Linens, Wisteria, and P.O.S.H. As a treat, we're sharing not one but three of their tabletops with you today.
Brook's Niche - Purple Passion: An amazing assortment of deep reds and purples creates the perfect centerpiece. Within the same theme, Brook picked our Purple Metallic Chargers and B&B Chargers, Vera Wang Dinner Plates, Parisian Flatware, Elise Cut Crystal Stemware, Purple Shantung Napkins, and Silver Chiavari Chairs.
Bryna's Niche - Festive Fete: Orchids and roses in assorted vases creates major eye candy. Mixed with La Tavola's festive jovial prints and our classic Mottahedeh Chargers, Royal Rego China, Pure Stemware, and Orange Chloe Goblet provides the perfect blend of color and white space for a tabletop that feels fun and fresh rather than overwhelming.
Lizzie's Niche - Tropical Paradise: This unique tabletop makes us feel like we're on vacation. Bring the tropics to your guests with Dr. Delphinium and our Grand Fruitwood Chiavaris, Round Rattan Chargers, Barcelona Gold China, and Bodega Bowls.

Traditional with Blue + White
Monday, August 19, 2013
There is a hint of cool weather lingering from the first cold front to grace Dallas and relieve us of triple-digit temps. It only makes our longing for Fall that much more intense. We've been loving the autumnal florals gracing the pages of our favorite magazines (especially the blue Carolina Herrera design below), and actually think that blue + white is so versatile in terms of it's traditional beloved status by tastemakers all over, that is the perfect addition to Fall tabletops. So, if you're thinking about traditional tabletops, blue hues, and needing something special for the ladies who lunch, blue + white china is just the ticket. // Get the look below with Elise Cut Crystal Stemware, Mottahedeh Chargers, Blue + White China, Michelangelo Flatware, Vintage Glass Compotes, and Natural Grand Chiavaris.
FYI: Jami and Laurel are in New York City, taking market by storm and curating special pieces from Fall Collections.
