Tabletop Tuesday: Dr. Delphinium

Tuesday, August 20, 2013
Dr. Delphinium's Lovers Lane studio is always awe-inspiring with it's towering floral arrangements and intricate display of stems and exotic flowers. To show off the grandeur of the beautiful arrangements, their team has created a Wedding Niche corner with complete tabletop from La Tavola Linens, Wisteria, and P.O.S.H. As a treat, we're sharing not one but three of their tabletops with you today.

Brook's Niche - Purple Passion: An amazing assortment of deep reds and purples creates the perfect centerpiece. Within the same theme, Brook picked our Purple Metallic Chargers and B&B Chargers, Vera Wang Dinner Plates, Parisian Flatware, Elise Cut Crystal Stemware, Purple Shantung Napkins, and Silver Chiavari Chairs.

Bryna's Niche - Festive Fete: Orchids and roses in assorted vases creates major eye candy. Mixed with La Tavola's festive jovial prints and our classic Mottahedeh Chargers, Royal Rego China, Pure Stemware, and Orange Chloe Goblet provides the perfect blend of color and white space for a tabletop that feels fun and fresh rather than overwhelming.

Lizzie's Niche - Tropical Paradise: This unique tabletop makes us feel like we're on vacation. Bring the tropics to your guests with Dr. Delphinium and our Grand Fruitwood Chiavaris, Round Rattan Chargers, Barcelona Gold China, and Bodega Bowls.

If you're feeling peachy keen

Wednesday, July 17, 2013
Pretty in peach: A simply white square dinner plate adds a modern element to this sweet peach tablescape. It's like a white tee for your couture ballgown. Jil Sander would approve.
We love a great peachy hue. It basks in Summer tablescapes with hints of orange and red or sets off a sweet yet simple place setting. Come Fall, it strikes a chord with deep browns and greens. Simply put, it's the under-appreciated neutral of the color wheel. So, if you are already thinking about peach when it comes to event decor or your fashionable attire, go for it. Peachy keen, indeed.
Chic peach: If simple is not your calling card (don't worry, we always think more is better), then call out the couture with a luxe layered look that will go from sweet to sassy with the bat of an eye. Get the look with P.O.S.H. Gold Florentine Charger, Arte Italica Dinner Plate, Gold Leaf Dinner Plate, Sevres Salad Plate, Birch Hall Flatware mixed with Artesian Flatware, and Light Pink Chloe Goblets.

If you're thinking about Spring blooms

Thursday, March 14, 2013
Perhaps our favorite thing about Spring is the bright blooms that begin popping up everywhere. Nothing inspires a beautiful tabletop more than a great centerpiece, and that is something Jackson Durham definitely has down. Take direction from their beautiful floral arrangements and set a festive table with pops of pink and orange.

Tabletop Tuesday: Bright in Bloom

Tuesday, February 26, 2013
Get ready because today's tabletop will have you wishing for warm weather! Deanie Michelle Events designed a look with hues of hot pink and deep orange mixed with classic blue and white china that screams Spring. The medley of patterns with solid, bold colors reminds us of the fabulous dyeing techniques of ikat or the ever popular chevron print, which would make for great linens if you wanted to go further with this style.

 WHAT WE LOVED
Deanie showcases perfectly how the right rentals can pull your your tablescape together. The pink and orange scalloped chargers tie in the bright blooms of Lush Couture's gorgeous centerpieces. Layering with classic white catering dinner plates and Blue + White salad/dessert plates is also a savvy way to show off your style on a budget. Just as you would accessorize any outfit, Deanie proves accessorizing you tabletop is just an important for a beautiful tablescape that reflects your personal style. Pulling just a few chic accent pieces take this tabletop from pretty to P.O.S.H.

Hues to Use: Gold

Friday, January 18, 2013
When we caught sight of this gorgeous gold place setting styled and photographed by Lightbox Photography, we couldn't wait to share it with you. Regal and luxurious, it's perfect for the wedding head table or an important dinner party. This was shot in October, so it has a fall feel, but can easily be updated to spring with a seasonal centerpiece and bright linen. Check out more from Teresa Gardner and Lightbox Photography here.
