Our New Website is Here!

It is officially here!  Our brand new P.O.S.H. Couture Rentals website has officially been released.  It has been a long time coming and we couldn't be more excited to share it with all of you.

There are so many amazing features on the site that make it user friendly and easy to use.  Our favorite part is the Virtual Table feature.  It allows anyone to create a custom tabletop design by mixing and matching any P.O.S.H. pieces.  What makes it even better is that it is easy to send to your P.O.S.H. Sales Stylist or to your friends!  We encourage everyone to go in and design and create your own tabletop to see how it functions and how easy and fun it is.

Along with all the fun features and products, our P.O.S.H. Preference blog will now be showcased on the new site.  Make sure you check in there to get all the latest posts and news each week!

Sales Stylist Profile | Jordan Ugalde

If you have ever come into our P.O.S.H.® showroom or called the office you were probably greeted by one of a few people.  And one of those people was most likely our Inside Sales Manager, Jordan!  She sits front and center and is always here to greet you with a smile as soon as you walk through the door. 

With a knack for what she does, it is apparent that Jordan makes the P.O.S.H.® experience enjoyable and seamless for our clients.  In the midst of a busy season, she took a few minutes to sit down to describe her style and some things to get to know her better!

What are your favorite pieces at P.O.S.H.®? I am a huge animal print lover, so the leopard print is my classic go-to pattern.  My second favorite pattern is the Exotic Bird by Charles Sadek.  It pairs well with pretty much any tabletop look!

What event that you have helped with is your favorite to date?: The Powers wedding at the Shady Oaks Country Club!  Beautiful floral, amazing tabletop and wonderful vendors!

Favorite part of your job?: My favorite part of my job is making people smile!  Helping my clients achieve the tabletop look they envision is most rewarding.

What trends are you seeing clients lean toward?: Rustic chic and why not! It is a class look.  Pair our new cross back chairs with any of the assorted vintage china or glassware and you are set!

Any tips for clients before they come to the showroom?: I love pictures or Pinterest boards!  Feel free to bring those in.  Swatches of linens you have selected or even swatches of bridesmaids’ dresses help as well!

PERSONAL

What is your personal style?: Although my desk is a mess (haha), I love a simple but elegant tabletop look!  Nothing speaks more to me than clean, crisp edges and simplified elegance.

Three things we don’t know about you:

1.       I graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in criminal justice

2.       I have EOS lip balm addiction!  I went overboard and bought every flavor.  You can never over-moisturize!

3.       My favorite spring color: MINT!

Spring is officially here, the first day is March 20^th, and we are so ready for warmer weather and spring influences!  Here at P.O.S.H. Couture Rentals ® we want to kick off the season by highlighting 26 things that remind us of P.O.S.H. ®, more specifically from A to Z.

Spring Haute List

Recently we were browsing through the new Neiman Marcus catalogue that we got in mail (one of our favorites) and couldn’t help but love all the trends on the nm LIST by Ken Downing.  It seems that with spring right around the corner and the multitude of fashion weeks occurring all over the world that fashion is taking over, and if we do say so ourselves, we love it!  Fashion is and will always be an inspiring part of our business.  Every day we draw inspiration from what we see all around us, and even better when we see something that we love we can directly translate it into our tabletops here at P.O.S.H. (one of the perks of our work!)  

To us the transition from winter to spring means more than just packing away our heavy coats and pulling out brighter colors.  The hint of warmer air puts a little pep in our step as we start to think toward all these spring trends.  So we decided to combine our love for fashion with our love for tabletops and bring you a little sneak peek of what we predict for spring tables.

Pink is such a statement color for spring and we couldn’t be more excited to see that it’s a big trend this season.  Whether it’s just in the details or the main focus of your table, pink makes a statement on its own.  This tabletop features our Clear with Gold Rim Charger, Barcelona Gold China, Gold Bead Clear Glass Plate, Compote, and POSH Flatware.  In our opinion, this is the ultimate pink tabletop!

White with black is no stranger to us.  We have previously shown some of our favorite black and white pieces here and here.  The combination is so classic and will always be in style no matter what season.  We’ve quoted Coco Chanel many times before, but this quote holds so true that we must share it again “Women think of all colors except the absence of color. I have said that black has it all. White too. Their beauty is absolute. It is the perfect harmony.”  This table specifically features our Black Ghost Chairs by Phillippe Starck.  These are sure to stand out at your table!

To achieve that denim on denim look for your tablescapes, we suggest using blue.  It not only represents the blue in denim, but also can be very versatile when implementing other colors into the mix.  Our P.O.S.H. blue + white china is the perfect way to get the perfect blue combination.  This blue table also features our Cut Crystal Stemware.

 

Shirt chic seems like a hard trend to translate into a tabletop, but at P.O.S.H. we liked the challenge.  This crisp trend fits perfectly into the scene for a white tabletop.  There is something so clean and sleek about an all white table.  We specifically love this one because it features our Gold Bead Chargers and Pure Glassware.

Last, but certainly not least are Artistic Prints.  There are so many different ways this trend can be translated into a tabletop, but in our opinion, our Antique Sevres China takes the cake with prints.  It is so elegant and detailed that we can’t help but pull it out whenever we get the chance!   This table features two different colors in our collection, the Peach Barral and the Green Chapuis.  Completed with our Square Rattan Charger and Mottahedeh Lace Couture Charger, there is nothing better than combining different pieces that mesh so well.

Spring is just around the corner so jump on board with the changes and get ready for a spring filled with colors and patterns galore!
