Southern Belle Place Setting: Floral Elegance Flatware, Mottahadeh Charger, Sevres Dinner Plate, Gold Leaf Wine Goblet, Chloe Goblet, Burlap Linen.
With Summer slowly winding down (or at least feeling cooler with all this much needed rain!), it seemed like a good to revisit this is an oldie but a goodie - a gorgeous Style Me Pretty shoot that makes you want to grab a pitcher of sweet tea and set the table for a romantic Southern evening. French Sevres China and Mottahedeh Chargers meet the deep South with country-inspired touches throughout with burlap, ruffles, mixed metals, and vintage personal finds for knockout centerpieces. See more of this sweet shoot here.

An assortment of meat and cheese served on classic catering dishes.
A cake table brought to life with amazing paper goods, personal touches, and a fantastic linen.
The same P.O.S.H. place setting on a white ranch table.

If you're thinking about purple

Wednesday, January 16, 2013
We were so inspired by yesterday's purple Tabletop Tuesday, we dove into our inspiration boards for more plum perfection. Various shades of purple have been popping from planners and brides alike, so we thought we'd share a few fun tabletops in this illustrious hue.

If you're thinking purple in a more feminine yet relaxed environment, say, an outdoor reception, then consider embracing natural elements. Let the texture of the outdoors reflect in your choices for tabletop. Get the look at P.O.S.H. with Rattan Chargers, purple silk runners, and Pure glassware. (See the look above)

If you're thinking purple with a formal approach to gowns and decor then the bottom look is for you. This gorgeous tablescape works indoor or outdoors. Purple is a huge focus of the tablescape with a grand floral centerpiece so touches of gold with tabletop will bring the whole together. Get the look at P.O.S.H. with Royal Glassware, Gold Radiance Chargers, Barcelona Gold China, and custom napkin rings. (See look below)

Tabletop Tuesday: Fall Garden

Tuesday, October 16, 2012
This is an oldie but a goodie - a contemporary garden wedding reception at the Nasher perfect for a chilled, autumn evening. What makes this look so modern is the classic silver and gold tones used on everything from the linens to the flatware mixed with modern ghost chairs and floral arrangements. Very fitting for the Nasher, indeed. See more of this gorgeous reception on Style Me Pretty.

1. Head Table: The bridal table receives special seating and linens, all the better for guests to come and greet the newlyweds as well as for the couple to enjoy their friends and family. The perfect mod companion to this table? Kartell Louis Ghost Chairs from Resource One, exclusively at POSH Couture Rentals.
 2. Tabletop: A close up of the tabletop reveals the classic elements that make this look so timeless - Extreme Riedel glassware, Clear Glass Charger with Gold Rim, and Parisian flatware (all POSH Couture Rentals).
3. The luscious and luxurious scene: A nice touch here is the adding pashminas for guests on a chilly, autumn evening.
4. Mixed Metals: A closer look at the glass chargers and glassware.
5. Details: You can't go wrong with fabulous florals and Bell'Invito paper goods.

Tabletop Tuesday: Great Gatsby

Tuesday, October 2, 2012
We were so excited to be a part of this Style Me Pretty shoot at The Hickory Street Annex in downtown Dallas, partly because of the amazing vendors and creative minds designing the shoot, and partly because the style was something we have been loving for a while now - The Great Gatsby! Brittany Nicole Photography came up the concept because of her own love for the 1920s, and we loved the twist on a traditional wedding reception. This theme would be great for a gala or even a costume party. See more images of the event and read about Brittany's idea behind the shoot here

1. An art-deco invitation is a must for any Gatsby style event. Love this one by U Lucky Girl. / What would a bride be without her bouquet or wedding bands? Floral Design by Ashlilium and jewelry by Crown Jewelers.
2. - 3. Resource One's Cameo Rosette, exclusively at POSH Couture Rentals, has a flirty hue that carries off a rich texture reminiscent of the luxurious Roaring 20's. Add in POSH Couture Rentals Elise Crystal Champagne Flutes, Gold Bead Charger, Sevres China Collection, and Clear Chloe Goblets for added opulence.
4. What's a Great Gatsby themed wedding without an equally impressive cake? Sugar Bee Sweets did not dissappoint in creating a cake as luscious looking as it is sure to taste.
5. Of course, no table is complete with out seating fit for royalty. The chiavari chair has long been held in high regard the deluxe choice for those with discriminating taste. Gold chiavari chairs with ivory linen cushions from POSH Couture Rentals.

What Wowed Us: Sweet Home San Antonio

Wednesday, September 26, 2012
A Northeast bride returns to her Southern roots in her hometown of San Antonio, Texas, for a gorgeous wedding. There is nothing like celebrating nuptials with timeless designs and family traditions. Images of the event designed by Sweet August Events were captured by Archetype Studios. You'll be able to see much more of this posh wedding today on the always inspiring Style Me Pretty. We had to share a few favorites, but you be sure to check out the full gallery here. You won't want to miss the all-female mariachi band!

 1. Some pictures are worth a thousand words: These two images fit the phrase nicely - The first kiss as Mr. and Mrs., and cute kiddos waiting to walk down the aisle.
2. The elements of a classic wedding? Gold chiavari chairs, ivory linens with insane details, and an equally gorgeous cake. Catering by Hotel Contessa.
3. Texture is, in fact, everything. Details on a custom Luna Novias wedding gown (left) and the Resource One Ivory Circle Ribbon Taffeta linen, exclusively at POSH Couture Rentals.
4. We love the way the bride incorporated meaningful and beautiful elements into every inch of this day, from the something blue in her floral bouquet by Fresh Urban Flowers to her cute Bella Umbrella
5. The happy couple on location at Hotel Contessa and the San Fernando Cathedral in San Antonio, Texas.
