A glamorous affair with the Pantone Color of the Year seems a fitting way to end 2012. Inspired by emerald and gold accents with the popular mint hue, Alison Baker and Mary-Francis Hurt of DFW Events have created a head-turner of a tabletop. Spotted: D Weddings Spring 2013

D Weddings Spring 2013 issue is officially out on stands, and it is giving us spring fever! We spotted a few of our fabulous clients in the pages, like this Real Wedding featuring Amanda Mayfield and Justin Hill with DFW Events. Wedding Roundup: Design is in the Details

Is there anything more inspiring than real weddings? We especially love it when the bride and groom personalities come through in the design and details of the event. Kudos to Emily Clarke Events and Branching Out for their fantastic work with TCU alums Perri and Emanuel at their Dallas wedding. Our favorite detail? It's a tie between incorporating traditional Romanian elements and dances (the groom came to TCU from Romania to play tennis) to the late night treats from Whataburger. (Hey, when you're dancing the night away, there's nothing better!). We've shared a few of our favorite moments below, but be sure to check out the entire gallery on photographer Taylor Lord's website here.

We love a peacock theme, and this wedding by Mary-Francis Hurt for DFW Events took it to a whole new level. Brook Carreker and Nick Schuttler had a colorful wedding complete with said peacocks in every detail, from the centerpieces to the feathers that waved the newly weds on to their getaway car. It's a truly inspiring wedding. It was too hard to pick a favorite image, so be sure to check out the full gallery on DFW Events here.

Tabletop Tuesday: Gorgeous Gold

The Olympics are over, but we're still celebrating the gold. This winning hue offers traditional elegance with just a few pieces and presents added glamour when mixing metals or merging several gold elements. Weddings Roundup: Southern Belles

We love seeing the belle of the ball embrace her Southern roots. DFW Events designed the themes for today's weddings, stylishly moving from the country club to an outdoor scenic setting. 

First up, high school sweethearts Sarah Howard and Lev Prichard. This beautiful wedding at the Highland Park Presbyterian Church followed by a reception at Royal Oaks Country Club looked classy with charming, personalized touches throughout. Wedding Roundup: What Wowed Us

There were too many great weddings out there not to share this week. As a rental company, we love seeing when clients personalize their wedding or event by choosing colors and textures that are representative of them and their landscape or atmosphere. It's amazing how the slightest detail transforms the entire mood of an evening. We can take inspiration from any of these events and translate it into a gala or opening night event. It's one of our favorite parts of this job. From the first to last image, these breathtaking photos completely wowed us.

We thought we'd change it up this week and offer an oldie but a goodie for those of you thinking ahead to fall events and weddings.
