Asian Influence: Curtain Call 2012 Gala

Thursday, May 31, 2012

Dallas Summer Musicals kicked off their Curtain Call 2012 with Asian-influenced style. Event chairs Sandy and Steve Watson were inspired by the elaborate sets from FLOWER DRUM SONG, which they used for the backdrops at Curtain Call 2012 Gala, themed Honor the Children in the Year of the Dragon, benefiting the DSM and its education and outreach programs. Some of the compelling numbers from these programs: In 2011, Seats for Kids brought 3,481 children who had never seen a live theatre performance before and the State Right program has over 230 participants. We were excited to add our own POSH flair to the event with specifically chosen rentals that would add to the strength and boldness of the Asian theme.

Gold Chiavari are the perfect compliment to this Asian-inspired tabletop. Topping off the design is Black Square Glass chargers with Onyx goblets. The main attraction is the Black Asian Dragon runner from Resource One, Inc., which also comes in square overlays and chair covers.

Gold Square Glass Chargers with Extreme Riedel glassware add a nice bold but clean touch to the mixture of Asian colors and designs.
