What We Are Pinning For April

Thursday, April 3, 2014
Pinterest is a great source of inspiration for what we do and great platform for us to share images of our work as well.  We love how genius it is to house a place for all those images floating around and a great way to showcase ideas.

With April now upon us, we want to share our favorite pins and what we are looking forward to this month!  For more ideas and images of our pieces, check out our P.O.S.H. ® Pinterest page to see all our pins.

Tabletop Tuesday // Starry Nights

Tuesday, January 7, 2014
Tabletop design, floral arrangement, and image courtesy of Dr. Delphinium.

Dr. Delphinium has always had our hearts with their floral arrangements, but they also have a knack for creating unforgettable tabletops. With Art Deco being a huge trend in 2013 and 2014, they were influenced by the style of the roaring twenties as well. Luxe china collections and embellished linens certainly reflect the era of The Great Gatsby, and the Dr. Delphinium team captured it perfectly. We love the luscious floral arrangement (Daisy would approve) and the gold details sure to leave stars in your guests eyes. This is a tabletop perfect for breaking out of the winter doldrums or celebrating a bright new year.

Tabletop Tuesday // An Opulent Affair

Tuesday, October 15, 2013
Silver Chargers with Floral Elegance Flatware, Silver Goblet, Riedel and Pure Stemware.
You know you're in for a treat when Diann Valentine is behind your event. The wedding and event planner extraordinaire known for as many embellished details in decor to personalized moments throughout the event is the go-to gal for everyone from Usher to Toni Braxton and HBO. To make a milestone moment memorable, Diann goes for custom touches throughout the event, from the linens and tabletop to the decor. So when T.D. Jakes wanted to celebrate his 35th anniversary, Diann showed up in style. Custom linens created by Diann draped king-size tables with metallic elements that set a new silver standard for elegant tabletops. The event caught the eye of the iconic bridal magazine Grace Ormonde and was published in the Fall 2013 issue. We were proud to be a part of the event alongside other DFW vendors, including floral designers  Bella Flora and lighting geniuses Beyond. Be sure to check back tomorrow for more Diann and this amazing night.

Fall Fete: Embellish

Thursday, September 12, 2013
You have the basics of Fall fete planning (if not, go here), but P.O.S.H. likes to go beyond basic. "More is more" is a rule we live by when it comes to entertaining.  Go the extra mile and make guests feel extraordinarily special with thoughtful touches peppered throughout the evening.
Tabletop: Throw in elegant additions to the tabletop with couture chargers or a pop of color with beautiful vintage goblets. Embellish in the areas guests can't help but notice - a luxurious chair, a glass compote for a specialty dessert, linen napkins, etc.
Dress: Show guests you care by dressing the part. Channel your inner hostess with the mostess and dress colorfully and elegantly. We love Marilyn's timeless style and Mick's devil may care (and, frankly, glamorous) look.
Color: No matter what or where, embrace it.

From top: Colorful chargers on an all-white tabletop // Channeling Marilyn and Mick for easy and elegant sartorial style // Specialty linens and chairs, glass chargers and layered vintage china plates, gorgeous goblets - all to better embellish a stylish tabletop. Images via pinterest.
We want to hear from you! What's your entertaining style for Fall fetes?

Tabletop Tuesday: Mint to Be

Tuesday, September 3, 2013

We love the mixture of seating styles.  All images by Perez Photography.

A glamorous affair with the Pantone Color of the Year seems a fitting way to end 2012. Inspired by emerald and gold accents with the popular mint hue, Alison Baker and Mary-Francis Hurt of DFW Events have created a head-turner of a tabletop. This look is surely "mint to be" throughout 2013 as well. Gorgeous job, ladies! See more, including a film by BEYOND, here

Get the look with POSH: Shown - Gold Lyons Flatware, Gold Floral Lace Champagne Flutes, Gold Chiavari Chairs. Add Emerald Chloe Goblets, Barcelona Gold Chargers and China, and mix in mint POSH Vintage pieces to complete this look.
