Tabletop Tuesday: Hollywood Regency

The glitz and glamor of the 30's Golden Age has made a major comeback in terms of event styling. Bringing in theatrical elements and luxe details, Emily Clarke channeled the look and feel of Hollywood Regency for Brides of North Texas in this polished and plush tabletop. Art Deco influences show up in the place settings with and crystal stemware with rich black and white hues mixed with gold while a geometric element in the linen. Perfect for the modern bride who wants to put a spin on tradition or tastemaker with a flair for the dramatic. Jean Harlow, eat your heart out. A glamorous affair with the Pantone Color of the Year seems a fitting way to end 2012. Inspired by emerald and gold accents with the popular mint hue, Alison Baker and Mary-Francis Hurt of DFW Events have created a head-turner of a tabletop. Tabletop Tuesday: Grace Kelly

Kimberly Sutton of Dream Events created such a glamorous table for D Weddings Fall 2012 issue. Be warned; you may feel the need to drape yourself in fur and jewels after viewing. Sutton designed the table for her ideal client - the one and only Grace Kelly. This is definitely a tablescape designed for a princess. What we like best is the throwback to Hollywood glamour with the simple yet elegant pieces. Tell us, where and with whom would you use such a setting?

Mindy Weiss designed these tablescapes for Hilary Duff's wedding. They're too good not to share! We love how the reception design perfectly blends white glamour with a southern rustic charm. This looks like it could be a wedding fit for a celebrity or a sweet reception at a private residence.
