Our New Website is Here!

Thursday, April 17, 2014
It is officially here!  Our brand new P.O.S.H. Couture Rentals website has officially been released.  It has been a long time coming and we couldn't be more excited to share it with all of you.

There are so many amazing features on the site that make it user friendly and easy to use.  Our favorite part is the Virtual Table feature.  It allows anyone to create a custom tabletop design by mixing and matching any P.O.S.H. pieces.  What makes it even better is that it is easy to send to your P.O.S.H. Sales Stylist or to your friends!  We encourage everyone to go in and design and create your own tabletop to see how it functions and how easy and fun it is.

Along with all the fun features and products, our P.O.S.H. Preference blog will now be showcased on the new site.  Make sure you check in there to get all the latest posts and news each week!

We hope you enjoy the website as much as we do, head over to poshcouturerentals.com and enjoy!

With Ground Hog day just passing, Phil, the groundhog, did in fact see his shadow and crawled back into his burrow predicting another six weeks of winter.  Although little Phil predicts more Winter, we at P.O.S.H. are seeing Spring tabletops.  Phil may be a reliable source for predicting whether or not winter will continue, but P.O.S.H. is an even more reliable source for predicting what looks best on your table.  Take it from us, Spring is in the air.

Why not create a tabletop that breaks you out of the cold of Winter and invites the feeling of Spring.

Toast | Winter Weddings

Thursday, December 12, 2013
Statistics show December is the most popular month to get engaged--perhaps it's the spirit of giving and unconditional love. Whatever the reason, we love the idea of getting engaged during the holiday season. Seriously, is there a better gift? Here are a few looks of our favorite winter weddings to get all the love birds inspired for winter weddings.

Luxurious centerpieces created the idea of a winter wonderland against dark table linens while ghost chairs and black chiavari chairs provided elegant seating for this draped in white ballroom at the Four Seasons Las Colinas. This is one of our favorites for its balance of dark and light for a seasonal feel.

Mary Elizabeth and Sean had everything from a butterfly release after the ceremony to a  seasonal reception at the historic Belo Mansion. Andrea Polito Photography captured every gorgeous moment (see them all here), including the bride and groom cutting the cake with our Exotic Bird China Collection.

You can't forget the seating. Our natural fruitwood chiavari's hold court with the light hues associated with winter. We love the way they look in Dean Fearing's Restaurant for a beautiful reception designed by Jackson Durham Floral & Event Design. The comfort of these oversized chairs provide comfort and class as only a chiavari can.

Who can beat the classic hues of silver and white for a wintry wedding? We love the non-traditional setup of the tables along with the simple tablescapes. Our custom pewter chiavari hairs and silver satin linens make this classic style hard to beat, especially paired with the gorgeous Hilton Anatole and florals from The Garden Gate.

So, how do you feel about winter weddings? We'd love to hear from you.

If you're feeling peachy keen

Wednesday, July 17, 2013
Pretty in peach: A simply white square dinner plate adds a modern element to this sweet peach tablescape. It's like a white tee for your couture ballgown. Jil Sander would approve.
We love a great peachy hue. It basks in Summer tablescapes with hints of orange and red or sets off a sweet yet simple place setting. Come Fall, it strikes a chord with deep browns and greens. Simply put, it's the under-appreciated neutral of the color wheel. So, if you are already thinking about peach when it comes to event decor or your fashionable attire, go for it. Peachy keen, indeed.
Chic peach: If simple is not your calling card (don't worry, we always think more is better), then call out the couture with a luxe layered look that will go from sweet to sassy with the bat of an eye. Get the look with P.O.S.H. Gold Florentine Charger, Arte Italica Dinner Plate, Gold Leaf Dinner Plate, Sevres Salad Plate, Birch Hall Flatware mixed with Artesian Flatware, and Light Pink Chloe Goblets.

Tabletop Tuesday: Silver Radiance

Tuesday, May 14, 2013

There is such a radiance to a silver tablescape that rings both modern and elegant. When gold can seem too much and patterns to loud, know you can always rely on this tried and true metallic tone to mirror any centerpiece or accent colors. Designed by Marin Fiske-Rankin for SMU, the elegance of the Meadows Museum is reflected by a place setting that is beautifully traditional without  coming across as stuffy. Layered Sophia and Loren china creates a unique look that can be changed with each place setting at the table for a one-of-a-kind visual experience for the guest that will make them feel royally wined and dined. If you love silver but want to perk up the palette, Chloe goblets (available in a variety of colors) are the perfect addition to toasting in style. This is a great look for a traditional wedding, important corporate dinner, or holiday.
